half day off this afternoon and went out and played a quick nine holes, thought about playing 18 but have some yard work to catch up on ........what a difference a couple of days make, although it was still soft the course has dried up considerably since saturday........really hit the ball pretty good....and missed some putts but just a little, except for one 25 footer for birdie on the hard the last couple of days and the course was wet in the low spots but surprisingly dry in spots too, greens were soft and the ball held well.....first hole definitely showed the rust for not having played for 8 days but other then that hit the ball very well, made one birdie on the par 5 7th, hit a sw from about 95yds that actually lipped the hole for 3 and i had about a 15" putt work, still wet but much drrier then what it was, nice warm sunny night, and i hit the ball all over the place, it was a bit windy but i just couldn't see to hit the ball well, sliced every driver i been 13 days since i played golf...well the weather has been basically rotten but that can happen at the end of may up here, took a half day vac and went out to play, conditions are pretty soft but except for maybe two shots wasn't that bad, but it was hard walking and i quit after 9 because my legs and back were getting tired and when that happens the swing goes...because of the soft
